ON NO LOCATION
The huge increase in the flood of migrants seen since late 2015, and the many obstacles these poor people have to overcome, inspired me to do a series of prints. Some of which have been made into artist books.
On no location is made of multiple gravure plates and woodcut. Printed on off white Zerkall Wove 340g with a mixture of Charbonell and Gutenberg ink. It consists of 17 individual unique prints + colophon in leporello format. Each print measures 14.6 x 14.6 cm, outer size 15.5 x 16.7 cm, hardbound in linen, total length 174 cm. Cover in black linen, inside black carton, pages glued together with black linen. Printed and bound in Copenhagen in 2016.
